A healthy workplace obviously also involves the mental and physical health of the workers in it. Organize small, regular activities to reduce stress in the workplace, to adopt good habits and to relieve aches and pains.

Your employees are your best assets. That's why creating a healthy and happy work environment that encourages and motivates employees is essential. Often we don't focus on the work environment, thinking that a kicker, some plants and team-building every 6 months will be enough to keep employees happy and engaged. However, this is not enough and the turnover, absenteeism or unproductivity rates are the signs.

Taking care of your employees, creating and maintaining a pleasant work environment does not require huge investments in money or organizational time. Sometimes, simple gestures and initiatives can be enough to create the basis for a work environment that motivates and makes those who work there happy. So here are 10 simple tips to apply tomorrow in your company, whether you are CEO, manager, happiness/office manager or just want to suggest ideas to your superiors.

Create a break program, one-to-one moments with colleagues and managers. Indeed, breaks over coffee or tea during the working day are beneficial, even more so if you share this break with someone for a common purpose. As an office manager, for example, determine 2 moments of 10-15 minutes during the week when each employee will take a break with someone, be it a colleague or a superior. This is a time to talk about yourself, to get to know each other better face to face or even to talk about work and problems encountered, to ask for advice. This will greatly strengthen team cohesion and collaboration in the company, even if it is only for 20 minutes a week.
